Arqueonautas Worldwide S.A. (AWW) recovers cargoes from endangered historical shipwrecks in an economically viable manner. Our team of marine archaeologists conducts operations following proven methodologies. The company was registered in Portugal in 1995 and has become today's leading commercial marine archaeological company for shallow-water operations. Since its foundation, AWW has discovered over 150 wreck sites in Africa and Asia. Fourteen historical shipwrecks have been excavated and approximately 100,000 coins and over 10,000 artefacts so far recovered. All excavations and recoveries are thoroughly documented and result in scientific publications. AWW currently holds exclusive survey and recovery licenses in Mozambique and Indonesia and is pursuing additional agreements in Asia and the Americas. Our company's mission is to recover and protect world maritime heritage and advance learning through scientifically conducted marine archaeological projects. AWW's carefully projected shipwreck recoveries aim for a fair return on extended venture capital for our investors.

AWW wurde 1995 als Aktiengesellschaft in Portugal registriert und ist heute als kommerziell orientierte marinearchäologische Institution im Flachwasserbereich (bis 60m) weltführend. Es wurden bisher über 150 Schiffswracks in Afrika und Asien gefunden. Von den bisher 14 ausgegrabenen Wracks wurden rd. 100,000 Münzen und über 10,000 Artefakte geborgen welche dokumentiert und in wissenschaftliche Publikationen umgesetzt werden. AWW führt momentan regierungsgenehmigte Such- und Bergungsprojekte in Mosambik und Indonesien durch und verhandelt zusätzliche Lizenzen in Asien und den Amerikas. Unsere Mission ist die Rettung des maritimen Weltkulturerbes, die Förderung wissenschaftlicher Studien durch Realisierung marinearchäologischer Projekte und die Rückführung eines fairen Kapitalertrages an unsere Investoren.
